Vijay Antony's most anticipated film, Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, directed by Vijay Milton, will be released in theatres on August 2.

The makers in the trailer, which came out days ago, said the film would be out in July without specifying the date.

The film also stars Megha Akash, Daali Dhananjaya, Murali Sharma, Pruthvi Ambaar, Thalaivasal Vijay, and Saranya Ponvanan in prominent roles.

Director Vijay Milton will also work as the cinematographer on this film, which's also releasing in Telugu as Toofan, while Vijay Antony will compose songs. Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan is produced by Kamal Bohra, Lalitha Dhananjayan, Pradeep B, Pankaj Bohra, and S Vikram Kumar of Infiniti Film Ventures.

Vijay Antony was last in the romantic comedy Romeo, alongside Mirnalini Ravi, directed by Vinayak Vaithianathan. Besides Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, the actor also has Valli Mayil, Hitler, Khakhee, and Agni Siragugal in different stages of production.
