The upcoming fantasy film Mayaputhagam, helmed by Rama Jayaprakash, has its official release date. The makers have made an announcement on the same on Wednesday.

Accordingly, the film will be screened in theatres on July 19.

The makers have described the film as a "journey of unforeseen surprises, twists, fantasies, and adventures."

Mayaputhagam has been under production for several years. The makers released the song 'Kannaal Kannaal Pesi' from the film as early as 2022. The song was penned by Viveka, with Prasanna and Priyanka NK lending their voices.

The film stars Srikanth, Ilavarasu, Aadukalam Naren, Abarnathi, Ashok Kumar, Lokesh, and KSG Venkatesh in pivotal roles.

Mayaputhagam, produced by Vinod B Jain, has music director Ravi Vijay Anand, editor Priyan, and cinematographer Baskar Arumugam in its technical crew.
