The makers of Vijay Antony's upcoming, Romeo, released the film's first look poster on Tuesday. The film, helmed by Vinayak Vaithianathan, stars Mrinalini Ravi as the female lead. The first look poster shows the two actors on their marriage night. While a shocked Vijay Antony is seen holding a jar of milk, a bold Mrinalini is seen making herself a drink. 

Apart from playing the lead, Vijay Antony is also bankrolling the film under his newly launched production house Good Devil Productions and editing it. Vinayak Vaithianathan is an erstwhile assistant of filmmaker Shree Karthick. He has previously directed a YouTube Series titled Kadhal Distancing.

The Telugu version of Romeo has been titled Love Guru. Also featuring VTV Ganesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ilavarasu, Sudha and Sreeja Ravi, the film has cinematography by  Farook J Basha and music by Barath Dhanasekar.

The distribution rights of Romeo has been bagged by Red Giant Movies. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
