As Marakkuma Nenjam, the upcoming Tamil film starring anchor Rakshan in the lead role, is gearing up for a release on February 2, the makers released a release teaser for the film on Saturday. 

Marking Rakshan's debut as a lead, Marakkuma Nenjam is directed by Yoagandran. Billed as a coming-of-age film, Marakkuma Nenjam is Yoagandran's second film after Methagu 2.

An earlier trailer showcased the character's school life, including romance and heartbreak. The newly released teaser reaffirms this. Marakkuma Nenjam is bankrolled by Filia Entertainment and Kuviyam Mediaworks.

Apart from Rakshan, the film also stars Vishaka Dhiman, 'Prankster' Rahul, Dheena, and KPY Rajkumar. With music by Sachin Warrier and lyrics by Thamarai, the cinematography and editing are by Gopi Duraisamy and Shashank Malik, respectively.
