Yogi Babu, KS Ravikumar and Bhumika Chawla team up for School

Actors Yogi Babu and Bhumika Chawla, along with actor-director KS Ravikumar have joined together for a film titled School. RK Vidyadharan is writing the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. 

The pooja ceremony of the film was held on Wednesday and the makers shared pictures from the event which was attended by KS Ravikumar, Bhagyaraj, Yogi Babu, Sams and the students who will act in the film. The film will go on floors tomorrow, January 25.

According to the makers, the film is a psychological thriller that takes place entirely in a school where Yogi Babu and Bhumika Chawla play teachers. KS Ravikumar will don the role of a police officer who investigates the crimes that occur on the premises. Bagavathi Perumal and Chaams are the principals of the school.

They have also revealed that the story of the film will be narrated through the perspective of students from the current generation while analysing incidents of murder, suicide, accidents and riots in the society. School will have a story that is on the lines of Vaitheeswaran (2008) and the Kannada film News (2005).  

On the technical front, School has cinematography by Aditya Govindaraj and editing by Raghav Ars. RK Vidyadharan and K Manju have jointly produced the film under Quantum Film Factory.
