The makers of The Boys, helmed by Santhosh P Jayakumar, announced on Wednesday that the film will hit theatres on February 16. The announcement came with a teaser which was announced as a trailer for the trailer.

The teaser shows Santhosh, Siva Sha Ra and others opening up a bar in their home when the state announces a dry day. The film also stars Arshad, KPY Vinoth, Yuvaraj, Redin Kingsley, and Rajendran.

"The film will revolve around the protagonists' liking towards liquor and the various places it takes them. While it will speak about the ill effects of alcohol and addiction, all of this is conveyed in comic undertones," director Santhosh said in an earlier conversation with CE.

Nova Film Studios and Darkroom Pictures are bankrolling The Boys which will feature cinematography by K. Ahamed Sherief and editing by Sam RDX. Arun Gautham has scored the music for this upcoming film.
