Thangalaan gets a new release window

The film was earlier slated for a release on January 26

Earlier, we had reported that Pa Ranjith's upcoming directorial venture, Thangalaan, starring Vikram in the lead role, will hit the theatres on January 26. However, it has now been learned that the makers have pushed the release to April. The makers announced the same on their social media handles

Also starring Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles, Thangalaan is said to be based on true incidents. It will focus on the Kolar Gold Factory in Karnataka and what transpired there under British rule. 

The supporting cast of Thangalaan includes Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, and Hari Krishnan, among others. The technical crew of Thangalaan consists of A Kishor Kumar (cinematography), Selva R K (editor) and GV Prakash Kumar (music composer). The film is produced by KE Gnanavelraja of Studio Green.
