The teaser of the upcoming Tamil film Tharunam, starring Kishen Das in the lead role, will be released on January 11. The makers announced the same on their social media handles. 

Talking to X, Kishen wrote, "Tharunam teaser from January 11 onwards. A film that I hadn't envisioned that I'd ever try but did with a lot of love, effort and as much conviction as possible. Do need all of your support" (sic). 

Tharunam is directed by Arvindh Srinivasan, who previously made Deja Vu. It is produced by Pugazh's Zhen Studios and ARKA Entertainments. "The film shows how these two characters meet for the first time and fall in love. It is also about how they overcome a series of problems," the director earlier said to CE.

The film's technical crew includes DOP Raja Bhattacharjee, editor Arul E Siddharth, and art director Varnaalaya Jagadeesan.
