Jayam Ravi's Siren clears censorship formalities

Days ahead of its release, The makers of Jayam Ravi's upcoming Siren have announced that the film has cleared censorship formalities and has received a U/A certificate from CBFC. 

Earlier the makers had released the trailer of the film. Jayam Ravi portrays the character of an ambulance driver who is falsely accused and imprisoned. After being granted parole, he sets out to prove his innocence while simultaneously facing a tough challenge from the police officer, played by Keerthy Suresh. Anupama Parameshwaran plays the role of Jayam Ravi's wife. On the other hand, Yogi Babu plays a friendly cop who is sympathetic towards Jayam Ravi's character.

Helmed by debutant Antony Bhagyaraj, Siren also stars Keerthy Suresh in the lead. While Jayam Ravi plays a prisoner, Keerthy plays a cop. Samuthirakani, Azhagam Perumal, Yogi Babu and Tulasi round out the cast of Siren

Screenwriter-turned-filmmaker, Antony has previously scripted films like AnnaattheViswasam, and Hero

Siren is said to be an action-packed emotional drama. Produced by Sujatha Vijaykumar of Home Movie Makers, the film's cinematography is handled by Selvakumar SK of Maanagaram fame. Ruben is in charge of editing the film.
