The filming of Enna Vilai, an upcoming socio-political thriller, headlined by Nimisha Sajayan and Karunas, has been wrapped up. The film marks the directorial debut of Sanjeev Pazhoor, who won the National award for scripting the Malayalam film Thondimuthalum Dhriksakshiyum.

Though originally made in Tamil, Enna Vilai has been planned as a pan-Indian release. Its cast includes Poornima Bhagyaraj, Y Gee Mahendran, Motta Rajendran, Vijayalakshmi, Shasha, Praveena, Kamalesh, Goli Soda Pandi, JS Kavi, Mohan Ram, Nizhalgal Ravi, Chetan Kumar, Kavithalaya Krishnan, TSR Sreenivasan, Swaminathan, Kottachi, Deepa Shankar, Chiththa Darshan, and Kavi Nakkalities.

Enna Vilai has music by Sam CS, cinematography by Alby and editing by Sreejith Sarang. It is produced by Githesh V of Kalamaya Films.

Enna Vilai marks Nimisha's fourth outing in Tamil after Chiththa, Jigarthanda Double X, and Mission: Chapter 1. She also has Nelson Venkatesan's DNA, co-starring Atharvaa Murali, coming up.
