As promised, the makers of Ajith's Vidaamuyarchi dropped the first single from the film titled 'Sawadeeka.' A peppy dance number composed by Anirudh, the song has vocals and lyrics by him along with Anthony Dasan and Arivu, respectively.

Helmed by Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaamuyarchi also stars Trisha, Aarav, Nikhil Nair, Dasarathi, and Ganesh, among others. Ajith and Trisha are pairing up for the fifth time and the first time in almost a decade. They have paired up in Ji (2005), Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011), and Yennai Arindhaal (2015).

Apart from Anirudh Ravichander, the technical crew of Vidaamuyarchi also includes cinematographer Om Prakash ISC and editor NB Srikanth. The film's post-theatrical digital rights have been bagged by Netflix. The film is produced by A. Subaskaran of Lyca Productions.

Vidaamuyarchi is scheduled to hit theatres for Pongal 2025. Ajith also has Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, which is currently also scheduled for release for Pongal 2025.
