Jaayavelmurugun's Varunan gets a release window

The makers have earlier released two songs, 'Kaadhale' and 'Kolaaru' from the film

The makers of director Jaayavelmurugun's Varunan: God Of Water announced the release window of the film on Thursday.

Accordingly, the film will get a theatrical release this January. The exact date is yet to be specified.

Billed as a 'summer gangster story', Varunan is written and directed by Jaayavelmurugun, produced by Karthick Sreedaran under his Yakkai Films banner, and co-produced by the director's Vaan Productions banner.

The makers have earlier released two songs, 'Kaadhale' and 'Kolaaru' from the film.

Apart from the leads Dushyanth Jayaprakash and Gabriella, Varunan also stars Radha Ravi, Charanraj, Shankarnag Vijayan, Haripriya, Jiva Ravi, Maheshwari, Arjunna Keerthivasan, Priyadharsan, and Dumkan Maari in pivotal roles.

The film, which was under production for several years, has cinematographer S Srirama Santhosh, editor U Muthayan, music director Bobo Shashi, action choreographer Dinesh Subbarayan, and art director Paddhu as part of its technical team.
