Director Karthik Subbaraj, who is helming Suriya's next, has revealed an update regarding the film's title teaser on Monday.

He revealed that Suriya 44's title teaser will be released on December 25, Christmas day. It's worth noting that the film wrapped shoot in October.

Suriya was last seen in Siva's action adventure period drama film Kanguva. The film based on the theme of reincarnation garnered mostly negative reviews from critics and fans.

Suriya 44 stars actors Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George and Karunakaran in pivotal roles. With Santhosh Narayanan as the music composer, the technical crew of the film crew comprises cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna, editor Shafique Mohamed, art director Jackson, action choreographer Kecha Khamphakdee, and costume designer Praveen Raja.

Marking the first collaboration between Suriya and Karthik Subbaraj, Suriya 44 is co-produced by Karthik's Stone Bench Films banner along with Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.

In addition to Suriya 44, the actor is working on his 45th with RJ Balaji and music composer Sai Abhyankar. Suriya 45, also starring Trisha, Natty, Indrans and Swasika Vijay, recently went on floors.
