The sequel to director Mysskin's super hit horror film Pisaasu (2014) has been in the making for over two years. The film stars Andrea and Rajkumar Pitchumani.

As Andrea turns 39 today, the Pisaasu 2 makers released a special poster. Without specifying the release date, it was announced that the film is scheduled to release in theatres in March 2025.

Andrea previously collaborated with Mysskin in the Vishal starrer Thupparivalan (2017) and Rajkumar Pitchumani worked with the director in the Udhayanidhi Stalin film Psycho (2020). Pisaasu 2 also stars Poorna and Santhosh Prathap in pivotal roles.

The release of Andrea's Kaa - The Forest is getting delayed after it was initially planned to hit theatres on March 29. Apart from Kaa and Pisaasu 2, Andrea also has Gopi Nainar's Manushi, Vikranan Ashok's Mask and R Alagu Karthik's No Entry in different stages of production.
