Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is gearing up for his next production titled Mr Bhaarath. Popular YouTubers Bhaarath and Niranjan of Finally channel are making their acting and directing debut respectively through the upcoming feature. The film will be presented and produced by the Vikram filmmaker through his G Squad banner.

Contrary to his films and his productions, the film is expected to ride high on comedy as well as romance. A quirky five-minute-long promo video was also released by the makers on Wednesday.

Earlier, his banner had presented Sundeep Kishan's Michael and Vijay Kumar's Fight Club in 2023. Along with Lokesh Kanagaraj, Mr Bhaarath will also be produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisami.

Actor Samyuktha Viswanathan, known for her roles in Oh Manapenne, and TV series like Modern Love Chennai, Sweet Kaaram Coffee and Chutney Sambar, will be playing the female lead in the film. The cast also features Bala Saravanan, Nidhi Pradeep, R Sunder Rajan, Linga, and Adithya Kathir among others.

The technical crew comprises music composer Pranav Muniraj, cinematographer Om Narayan, editor Dhivakar Dennis and art director Bhavna Govardan. A release date is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Lokesh is also producing the upcoming film Benz starring Raghava Lawrence in the lead role. It will be directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and will fall under his LCU films.
