Actor Natty, who was last seen in debutant Sidharth Vishwanath's Sorgavaasal has joined hands with RJ Balaji once again in Suriya 45. He onboards an ensemble cast that consists of actors Indrans, Lubber Pandhu fame Swaswika, Yogi Babu, and Sshivada. The film also marks Natty and Suriya's second collaboration after Kanguva.

The yet-to-be-titled film, which marks RJ Balaji's third directorial, stars Trisha as the female lead. It reunites Trisha and Suriya for the first time after 2005's Aaru. Suriya 45 will have music composed by singer Sai Abhyankkar, who recently replaced AR Rahman in the film. Cinematographer GK Vishnu will be cranking the camera.

The upcoming film also reunites Suriya with his NGK producers and RJ Balaji with his Sorgavaasal makers, SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu of Dream Warrior Pictures. The film was launched with a traditional pooja ceremony in November. While the makers are still making cast announcements, details about plot and genre are still under wraps.

Natty had an eventful year starring in five films including the critically acclaimed Maharaja alongside Vijay Sethupathi. He then went on to star in Hiphop Tamizha's Kadaisi Ulaga Por, Jayam Ravi's Brother, Suriya's Kanguva and RJ Balaji's Sorgavaasal.
