Dream Warrior Pictures, which produces Suriya 45, continues on its barrage of cast announcements on Sunday. After renowned Malayalam actor Indrans, Lubber Pandhu fame Swaswika, and Yogi Babu, Sshivada becomes the latest to join the film's cast. The film marks a maiden collaboration between Sshivada and Suriya as well as director RJ Balaji and the Kanguva star.

Suriya 45 stars Trisha as the female lead. It reunites Trisha and Suriya for the first time after 2005's Aaru.

On the technical front, the film has composer Sai Abhyankar and cinematographer GK Vishnu.

SR Prabu and SR Prakash Babu are producing the film under their label Dream Warrior Pictures. They launched the film with a conventional pooja ceremony earlier this year, and it is in preproduction. The makers are yet to reveal plot and character details. They are also expected to announce further cast and technical crew members in the near future.

Sshivada last starred in Tamil cinema in Garudan, alongside Soori and Unni Mukundan.
