We had earlier reported that director-actor Selvaraghavan is collaborating with music composer GV Prakash for a new film. The makers have now announced that details regarding the film will be announced on Friday, December 13 at 6.30 pm. The film will be bankrolled by Parallel Universe Pictures.

GV Prakash and director Selvaraghavan had previously collaborated for Aayirathil Oruvan (2010) starring Karthi in the lead role and Dhanush's Mayakkam Enna (2011). He had also lent his voice to one song each in the two films.

GV Prakash last composed music for the Telugu film Matka, starring Varun Tej and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles. In Tamil, he last scored for Sivakarthikeyan-Rajkumar Periyasamy's Amaran which became a blockbuster hit across the nation. Up next, he has a slew of upcoming films including Arun Vijay's Vanangaan, Vikram's Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, Dhanush's Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, Akshay Kumar's Sky Force, Kangana Ranaut's Emergency, Ajith's Good Bad Ugly and Dhanush's Idly Kadai.

Meanwhile, Selvaraghavan last directed Dhanush's Naane Varuvean in 2022. He was recently seen playing the antagonist role in debutant Sidharth Vishwanath's Sorgavaasal starring RJ Balaji in the lead role.
