Actor Dhanush's directorial Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (also called NEEK) has set a Valentine's week release in 2025.

The makers announced on Wednesday that the film, billed as a romantic drama, will be releasing in theatres on February 7 next year. It was also announced that Red Giant Movies has acquired the distribution rights of the film in Tamil Nadu.

Two singles from the film—'Golden Sparrow' and 'Kadhal Failu'—were dropped earlier.

NEEK features Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan in pivotal roles.

GV Prakash Kumar, who composed Dhanush's Aadukalam, Asuran, Polladhavan, Vaathi, and Captain Miller, is scoring the music for NEEK, while Leon Britto has been roped in as the cinematographer and GK Prasanna will handle the cuts.

Dhanush was last seen in Raayan, his 50th film as an actor and second as a director. NEEK marks his third directorial, while he is filming his fourth Idli Kadai, which will be releasing on April 10, 2025.
