Actor Siddharth, who is gearing up for the release of his Tamil film Miss You, has been at the receiving end of controversy over some of his statements in the recent days.

Another comment that is fetching the negative attention is his comparison of the footfall at the Pushpa 2 event in Bihar and a crowd gathering around a construction site when the JCB arrives.

In his interview with YouTuber Madan Gowri, Siddharth says in India gathering of crowd is not a big thing and that even a construction site will attract a crowd when JCB arrives. He gave this answer in response to the host asking about the footfall of the Pushpa 2 event in Patna. He went on to add that crowds don’t equate to quality. "If that's the case, then every politician who is able to attract crowds should win elections, which is not the case," he added.

His recent response to the criticism of Indian 2 and his role in the film too didn't go down well with a section of social media users.
