Earlier, we reported that the second single of Shane Nigam's Madraskaaran is a remix version of AR Rahman's much-celebrated 'Kaadhal Sadugudu' from Mani Ratnam's Alaipayuthey. On Saturday, the makers unveiled the song, with visuals featuring Shane Nigam and Niharika Konidela. Nandhagopan V  has reimagined the original track, while Adithya RK has rendered it. The visuals feature the lead pair gracefully shaking their legs to the beats.

The first single from Madraskaaran, 'Thai Thakka Kalyanam' was released in September.

Helmed by Vaali Mohan Das, Madraskaaran also stars Kalaiyarasan, Aishwarya Dutta, Karunas, and Pandiarajan. In an earlier interview with CE, writer-director Vaali said that the film revolves around the consequences of an ego clash between two people and that it centres on the idea of "how a negligible incident completely changes a person's life."

Madraskaaran is touted as an action thriller along the lines of Prithviraj Sukumaran's Ayyappanum Koshiyum and Driving Licence, as well as Shane's own Ishq. It is produced by B Jagadish through SR Productions. It has cinematography by Prasanna S Kumar, editing by R Vasanthakumar, and music by Sam CS.

A release date for Madraskaaran is yet to be announced by the makers.
