Vidaamuyarchi is very close to reaching the finish line. Ajith Kumar has completed dubbing for his portions in Baku in Azerbaijan, the makers announced on Saturday. The Magizh Thirumeni film is all set for release during the festive occasion of Pongal 2025.

Set amidst an arid desert, the teaser of Vidaamuyarchi, which was released recently, showed Arjun and Regina Cassandra's characters, who seem to laugh evily after committing what look like a homicide. Ajith is then introduced along with the rest of the ensemble cast. Ajith seems to be the man on the pursuit of finding the people behind the crime. The teaser, which has Arab-inspired background music, provides scarce details about the film's plot.

Vidaamuyarchi also stars Trisha, Aarav, Nikhil Nair, Dasarathi, and Ganesh, among others. Ajith and Trisha are pairing up for the fifth time and the first time in almost a decade. They have paired up in Ji (2005),  Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011), and Yennai Arindhaal (2015).

The technical crew of Vidaamuyarchi includes cinematographer Om Prakash ISC, editor NB Srikanth, and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. The film's post-theatrical digital rights have been bagged by Netflix. The film is produced by A Subaskaran of Lyca Productions.

Ajith is also simultaneously filming Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, which is currently also scheduled for release for Pongal 2025.
