Ring Ring clears censorship formalities

Earlier, we reported that filmmaker Sakthivel, who has previously made EGO and Kandhakottai, will next be helming Ring Ring. On Friday, the makers of the film announced that the film has cleared censorship formalities with a 'U/A' certificate. 

The makers say just like how Love Today was made with the concept of phone swapping in a relationship, Ring Ring will deal with phone swapping after marriage.

Ring Ring stars Vivek Prasanna, Sakshi Agarwal, Daniel Annie Pope, Praveen, Arjunan, Swayam Siddha, Sahana and Jamuna. Ring Ring has been entirely filmed in a huge set in Chennai's ECR. The makers say the film has both a humourous and mysterious elements in it.

Ring Ring's technical crew comprises cinematographer Prasad, music composer Vasanth, art director Dinesh, editor PK and lyricist P Hariharan. The film, produced by Jegan Narayanan and Shakthivel under Diya Cine Creations and Rule Breakers Productions, will be released in theatres on January 3, 2025.
