Actor 'Power Star' Srinivasan hospitalised

According to some media reports, he is receiving treatments and will be discharged from the hospital after a week

Actor 'Power Star' Srinivasan has reportedly been hospitalised on Wednesday.

He has been admitted to the Kalaignar Centenary Super Speciality Hospital (KCSSH) in Guindy, owing to kidney-related ailments. According to some media reports, he is receiving treatments and will be discharged from the hospital after a week.

He made his acting debut in Unakkaga Oru Kavithai (2010) and rose to popularity with Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya (2013), which starred Santhanam and Sethu. He went on to star in Arya Surya (2013), Sagaptham (2015), Sowkarpettai (2016), Kavan (2017), Sakka Podu Podu Raja (2017), Simba (2019), Capmaari (2019) and Rayar Parambarai (2023). He was last seen in Paatti Sollai Thattathe in 2023.

Srinivasan recently announced his upcoming project Mundhinam, in which he will play the lead. The film is produced and directed by Loganathan (or Logu), who is a doctor by profession in Villupuram. He is backing the film under the LV Creations banner. Alex A has been given the story credtis. Starring alongside Srinivasan are director Velu Prabhakaran, Shankar Ganesh, Ram Anand, Yuvaraj, Shamitha, Savithri, Nellai Perumal, Siddhik Basha, and Silvester Simbu, among others.
