The teaser of director Ezhil Periyavedi's upcoming film Parari has been released on Wednesday.

Parari, meaning migrant in Tamil, could revolve around the struggles of an oppressed migrant community. The glimpse shows the run-in the male lead has with people of the oppressive community. Their conflict reaches a crescendo where even the basic amenities, like drinking water, get cut off in the oppressed community's locality.

Director Raju Murugan, who presents the film, described it as a "breathtaking and nerve-wracking experience" and added that it will debut in theatres soon. Ezhil Periyavedi worked as an associate director for Raju Murugan.

The Gypsy director is presenting this film in association with SP Cinemas. The film stars Hari Sankar of Thozhar Venkatesan (2019) fame as the protagonist and debutant Sangeetha Kalyan as the female lead. The film’s star cast comprises newcomers who underwent acting training for 6 months.

The technical team at Parari has music by Sean Roldan and lyrics by Uma Devi. Sridhar will crank the camera for the film while the editing is taken care of by Sam RDX.

The makers are yet to give a release date to the film.
