Actor M Sasikumar has announced the release date of his next film, Nandhan, directed by Era Saravanan. Produced by Era Entertainment, the film will release in theatres on September 20.

Sasikumar made the announcement on social media by resharing a poster that gives a first look at his character in Nandhan. Shot in parts of Thanjavur and Pudukkotta, the film also stars Suruthi Periyasamy as the female lead, Balaji Sakthivel, and Samuthirakani.

The film has long been in the making; its first look was released through Udhayanidhi Stalin on social media in 2022. But the makers are yet to reveal further details about the plot of the film.

On the technical front, it has Saran as the cinematographer and Ghibran Vaibodha as the music composer.

Era Saravanan is known as the director of films such as kathukutty and Udanpirappe. Sasikumar also has the films Evidence and Naa Naa in the pipeline.
