The makers of Lubber Pandhu, starring Harish Kalyan and Attakathi Dinesh, announced the film's release date along with a trailer.

The trailer shows Harish Kalyan and Dinesh as two star players of their respective gully cricket teams who rub against the wrong side of each other. The glimpse of the sports-drama also features love and caste angles. In a way of teasing audiences, the trailer leaves an open-end on whether Harish Kalyan or Dinesh plays a double role.

The star cast of Lubber Pandhu, directed by Thamizharasan Pachamuthu, includes Sanjana, seen in Vadhandhi web series, Bala Saravanan, Kaali Venkat, Devadarshini, and Swasika Vijay, among others.

The technical crew of Lubber Pandhu, produced by S Lakshman Kumar under the Prince Pictures banner, consists of music director Sean Roldan, cinematographer Dinesh Purushothaman and editor Madan G.

Apart from Lubber Pandhu, Harish Kalyan also has Diesel by Adangathey-fame Shanmugam Muthusamy and Nooru Kodi Vaanavil by Pichaikkaran-fame Sasi are under different stages of production.

The film will release in theatres on September 20.
