After the success of his 50th film Raayan, actor-director Dhanush has shifted his focus to the youthful rom-com Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), his third directorial project.

Days ago, the makers announced that the film's first single had been titled 'Golden Sparrow' with an announcement poster. The song will feature actor Priyanka Mohan in a cameo appearance.

'Golden Sparrow' will be dropping on August 30, according to the recent announcement.

The film features Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan in pivotal roles.

GV Prakash Kumar, who composed Dhanush's Aadukalam, Asuran, Polladhavan, Vaathi, and Captain Miller, would be scoring for NEEK, while Leon Britto has been roped in as the cinematographer and GK Prasanna will handle the cuts.

Dhanush was last seen in Raayan, his 50th film as an actor and second as a director. The film opened to a mixed to positive response upon its theatrical release on July 26.
