Director Ponram, who is known for making films like Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam (2013), Rajinimurugan (2016), Seemaraja (2018), MGR Magan (2021), and DSP (2022), kicked off his next film on Sunday.

The film will star the late actor-politician Vijayakanth's son, Shanmuga Pandian, along with Sarathkumar, Kaali Venkat, and Kalki Raja. Shanmuga Pandian was last seen in the 2018 film Madura Veeran, which was his second film after his 2015 debut, Sagaptham. Sarathkumar's most recent outing was with Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan earlier this month.

Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing the music for the yet-to-be-titled film, with Yugabharathi and Snekan penning the lyrics. Balasubramaniem will handle the camera, while art direction will be done by Saravana Abiraman and editing will be done by Dinesh Ponraj. The film will be produced by Star Cinemas, for whom this will be their debut venture.
