The first trailer for Arjun Sarja's upcoming film Virundhu has been released by the makers. The almost two-minute-long trailer shows Arjun on a secret mission. Although we can't deduce much from the trailer, we can see that his mission takes him down a dark path with a sinister path. The film also hints at being an action-heavy entertainer.

In Malayalam, the film has been titled Virunnu. Filmmaker Thamara Kannan has helmed several Malayalam films like Varal (2022), Udumbu (2021), Vidhi: The Verdict (2021), Pattabhiraman (2019) and more.

Virunnu/Virundhu marks Arjun’s fourth Malayalam film after Vandae Maatharam, Jack & Daniel and Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham.

Virundhu, also starring Nikki Galrani in a key role, is produced by Gireesh Neyyar under his banner Neyyar Films. The script is by Dinesh Pallath while cinematography is handled by Ravi Chandran and Pradeep Nair. The editing is taken care of by VT Srejith.

The film is set to be released in theatres on August 29.
