The makers of Vidaamuyarchi have been continuing to share posters of the actors and their character looks from the film. The latest set of actors to join the cast are Ganesh Saravanan and Dasarathi.

The much-anticipated film, billed as a thriller, is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and is backed by Lyca Productions. Details regarding the plot are currently under wraps.

The ensemble cast of the film also includes Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Regina Cassandra, Arav and Nikhil Nair.

The shooting for Vidaamuyarchi began in October 2023. The film was initially supposed to be helmed by Vignesh Shivan, who was later replaced by Magizh Thirumeni.

The technical crew of Vidaamuyarchi includes cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor NB Srikanth, and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. The film's post-theatrical digital rights have been bagged by Netflix. A release date is yet to be announced by the makers.
