After the success of director Vignesh Karthick's Hot Spot, actor and producer Vishnu Vishal has decided to present the sequel to the anthology titled Hot Spot 2 Much.

In an announcement video, Vignesh Karthick, as a newlywed, to celebrate his wedding night, where he finds Vishnu Vishal in the room. Wishing him on the success of Hot Spot, he gift-wrapped a chappal, reminding him of his statement when the first part was released.

With KJB Talkies' KJ Balamanimarbhan and Suresh Kumar returning as producer and co-producer, respectively, the details about the cast and crew are yet to be revealed.

Hot Spot opened to mixed to positive reviews upon its release on March 29, with CE praising the film for addressing societal issues while noting that the tonal inconsistencies have derailed its cause. The film was streamed on the OTT platforms Aha Tamil and Prime Video on May 17.
