Oru Nodi trailer: A missing case that changes the life of a cop

CE Features

The trailer video of the upcoming crime thriller Oru Nodi, starring Taman Kumar and MS Baskar, has been released by the makers on Saturday.

The glimpse starts with a narration that says, "decisions taken in a split second can change one's life forever."

The 120-second video then shifts to a weeping middle-aged woman who comes to the police station in charge of a cop, played by Taman Kumar, complaining about her missing husband (MS Baskar). Pursuing the missing case leads him to murky land deals and murkier murders. Like every other investigative thriller, the trailer of Oru Nodi skillfully employs the accidental-discovery trope.

The film from writer-director B Manivarman stars MS Bhaskar and Taman Kumar in the lead roles. The cast of Oru Nodi also features the likes of Vela Ramamurthy, Sri Ranjani, Gajaraj, Pazha Karuppaiah, and Karupu Nambiar.

Part of the technical crew are cinematographer KG Ratheesh, music composer Sanjay Manickam and editor S Guru Suriya.

The film will release on April 26 alongside Vishal-Hari's Rathnam.
