Director Lokesh Kanagaraj announced on Sunday, on the occasion of Tamil New Year, that he will next be producing Raghava Lawrence's new film, titled Benz. Lokesh's G Squad will be backing the film along with Passion Studios and The Route. The upcoming film is helmed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan.

The first look poster of Benz was also unveiled. The poster also mentions the tagline, "A warrior with a cause is the most dangerous soldier."

Director Bakkiyaraj Kannan has previously helmed Remo and Sulthan. The film's story also comes from Lokesh Kanagaraj. Jagadish Palanisamy and Sudhan Sundaram will back Benz under The Route and Passion Studios banners respectively.

The makers are yet to announce the technical crew of Benz. The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film have been bagged by Netflix.
