On the occasion of actor Kalyani Priyadarshan's birthday, the makers of Jayam Ravi's Genie had released her character poster from the upcoming film. The poster features the actor dazzling in a silk outfit bejeweled from her neck to the chest. She is also seen wearing a crown suggesting that she could be playing a princess in Genie.

Earlier, the makers had shared the first look poster of Jayam Ravi where he was portrayed as a genie coming out of a pot. He is surrounded by gold coins, money, and sweets, while a broken chain encircles him.

Mounted on a big-budget, the upcoming film is bankrolled by Dr Ishari K Ganesh for Vels Film International. Billed as a pan-Indian film set to hit the screens in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, Genie also stars Krithi Shetty, and Wamiqa Gabbi in significant roles.

The film has music composed by A R Rahman, while others on the technical team are cinematographer Mahesh Muthuswami, editor Pradeep E Ragav, and art director Umesh J Kumar.

Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi, who was last seen in Siren, along with Keerthy Suresh, has a slew of films in the pipeline, including Mani Ratnam-Kamal Haasan's Thug Life, Thani Oruvan 2 and Brother, among others.
