Aravind Swamy to replace Jayam Ravi in Thug Life?

It is being widely speculated that actor Aravind Swamy will replace Jayam Ravi in Mani Ratnam's Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan.

However, neither bringing Aravind Swamy on board nor Jayam Ravi opting out have been confirmed by the makers.

Speculations in the tinseltown are rife that Ravi due to dates issue. Earlier, Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan too stepped out of the project due to similar scheduling problems.

Talks were doing rounds to bring Silambarasan too into Thug Life. These talks too haven't been made official by the makers.

Thug Life is a gangster film that Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan are collaborating for after 36 years of Naayakan, which too is an iconic gangster film. The project was announced last year. The film is a co-production between Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies, Kamal's Raaj Kamal Film International, and Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies.

Technical crew of Thug life features cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, music director AR Rahman, editor Sreekar Prasad and action directors Anbariv.
