It is known that actor Vemal would be headlining the upcoming film Ma Po Si, directed by Bose Venkat. The film's shoot and dubbing was completed last year and is awaiting release.

The makers have now announced that director Vetrimaaran would be presenting the film under his production company Grassroot Film Company.

Bose Venkat, who made his directorial debut with Kanni Madam, shot the film entirely in Arandhangi. The film, bankrolled by S Siraj under his banner SSS Pictures was launched in August 2022.

Ma Po Si stars Chaya Kannan as the female lead and Saravanan in an important role. The film has music by Siddhu Kumar.

Vemal was last seen in Thudikkum Karangal, directed by Velu Doss which was released last year.
