The first look and title of the upcoming Tamil film Kolai Seval, starring actors Kalaiyarasan and newcomer Deepabalu in the lead roles, was released by filmmaker Pa Ranjith on social media on Friday.

The poster shows the lead actors sitting by a river side, on the rocks as they share a laugh. Deepabalu's role is shown to be an expecting mother as she cradles her baby bump.

Written and directed by debutant Thudhivaanan, the film is backed by RP Bala and Kousalya Bala. The technical crew consists of PG Muthiah as the cinematographer, with Santhan scoring the music. Ajay Manoj will be handling the edits. Bala Saravanan, Aadhavan, Gajaraj, and Agaran Venkat play prominent roles in the film

The makers are yet to announce the release date of Kolai Seval.
