A few days back, reports circulated that the release of Mark Antony due on September 15, has been stalled after the Madras High Court restrained and directed actor Vishal to deposit an amount in response to a suit filed by Lyca Productions.

With this, Mark Antony will have a solo release for Vinayaka Chaturthi.

However, on Tuesday, the actor took to social media to clarify that the stay on the film release has been vacated, thus the film arriving on September 15 as planned. Following this, Mark Antony will release in Hindi on September 22.

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film stars Vishal, SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Ritu Varma, among others. Mark Antony is bankrolled by S Vinod Kumar, marking his second collaboration with Vishal after Enemy. Mark Antony is expected to be a gangster drama, with elements of time travel and comedy.

The technical crew of Mark Antony comprises music composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer Abhinandan Ramanujam and editor Vijay Velukutty.
