CBFC modifies some visuals and lyrics of Naa Ready song from Leo

CE Features

The first single from Leo titled 'Naa Ready' was released 2 months ago, on the occasion of actor Vijay's birthday. While Vijay fans welcomed the song with a warm embrace, some netizens and the audience pointed out that the song promotes smoking and drinking with its lyrics and visuals.

Now, the Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) has modified parts of the song to ensure that the song does not promote smoking and drinking in any way. As per a new certificate, the lines 'Pathaadhu bottle Naa kudika andaava konda cheers adikka' and a few more similar lines have been replaced wherever it occurs. Similarly, visuals with Vijay smoking, especially close up shots have either been replaced or reduced.

Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, 'Naa Ready' also has vocals by the music composer along with a rap portion by Asal Kolaar.

Leo is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and stars an ensemble cast including Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, among others. The film has cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa. It will hit theatres worldwide on October 19.
