The first single, Azhagai, from the upcoming Tamil film Iraivan, was released by the makers recently, ahead of the film's release on September 28. The melody song, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, has lyrics by Vivek. It is sung by the composer along with Sanjith Hegde, Kharesma Ravichandran.

Iraivan stars Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara in the lead roles and directed by I Ahmed. He has previously helmed Endrendrum Punnagai and Manithan.

Billed as a commercial crime thriller, the film is backed by Sudhan Sundaram and Jayaram G of Passion Studios. The technical crew consists of inematography by Hari K Vedanth and editing by Manikanda Balaji.

Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara who have previously worked in Thani Oruvan, will be once again reuniting for the film’s sequel which was announced recently.
