CE Features

Following the success of Vishal and SJ Suryah starrer Mark Antony, the film's producer, S Vinod Kumar, gifted a brand new BMW to the film's director, Adhik Ravichandran. Adhik shared a brief note on his social media handle expressing his gratitude to Vinod Kumar and the team Mark Antony

Mark Antony marks Vinod Kumar's second collaboration with Vishal. The duo previously worked together in Enemy. Apart from Vishal and SJ Suryah, Mark Antony features an ensemble cast, including Sunil, Selvaraghavan, Ritu Varma, Abhinaya, Kingsley, and Y G Mahendran, among others.

The technical crew of Mark Antony comprises music composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer Abhinandan Ramanujam and editor Vijay Velukutty.

The film, released in theatres on September 15, opened to negative to mixed reception, with a unanimously positive reception for SJ Surayah's performance, "SJ Suryah is in a phase of his acting career where he can do little wrong. The man shows tremendous commitment to every moment, and where someone else might come through as laughably cartoonish (almost like they were parodying Sivaji Ganesan, what with the dialogue delivery being all stretched out), the actor's sheer energy and a certain undefinable charisma ensures that we buy everything he does," reads an excerpt from the CE review of the film.
