The first schedule of Gentleman 2, the upcoming film, was wrapped up, the makers of the film announced on social media on Monday. The second schedule will begin in November.

Chethan Cheenu, who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry and has done films like Pelliki Mundu Prema Katha, Vidyarthi, and Mantra 2, is the lead for the sequel. Malayalam actor Nayanthara Chakravarthy will make her debut as a female lead. Priya Lal will also play a pivotal role.

Backed by KT Kunjumon, the film has music scored by MM Keeravani. While the original film was directed by Shankar, the sequel will be directed by Gokul Krishna, known for films like Aaha Kalyanam. Gentleman 2 will be shot in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and will also be dubbed in Malayalam and Kannada.
