The Tamil film Rangoli is now available to stream on Prime Video. The film hit theatres on September 4 and opened to mixed reviews. Written and directed by Vaali Mohan Das, Rangoli stars debutants Prarthana and Hamaresh, the nephew of filmmaker Vijay.
Billed as a family drama set against the backdrop of school life, Rangoli also stars Muruga Doss, Amit Bhargav, Sanjay, Ragul, Vishwa, Akshaya Hariharan, Krithiga, and Sai Sree, among others.
In an earlier conversation about the film, director Vaali shared, "The film revolves around school students and will explore a father-child relationship as well. However, it won't be sentimental in its treatment."
Rangoli is bankrolled by K Babu Reddy and G Satish Kumar through Gopuram Studios. The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Marudhanayagam, editor R Sathyanarayanan and music composer Sundaramurthy KS.
