Actor Vaibhav's upcoming film titled Aalambana, directed by debutant Pari K Vijay is gearing up for a release soon. The makers of the film have now announced that Aalambana will hit theatres in December this year.

KJR Studios, which is bankrolling the film along with Oustubh Entertainments, took to X and shared a new poster for the film and wrote, "Magical tales are about to come to life. Experience the fun and adventures of #Aalambana, coming to theatres this December."

The film, which is touted to be a fantasy comedy, has Munishkanth playing the role of a Genie. In the poster that was shared along with the release date, Vaibhav is seen holding a Genie's lamp in one hand and a book that resembles a spellbook in the other. 

Aalambana has Parvati playing the female lead. The other stars in the cast include Robo Shankar, Kaali Venkat, Murali Sharma, Dindugal I Leoni and Anandraj. Vedalam-fame Kabir Duhan Singh plays the villain.

Aalambana was shot in locations like Mysore Palace, Chennai, and Pondicherry. The film which went on floors towards the end of 2019, wrapped up the shoot in 2021.

The film has music by Hip Hop Tamizha, cinematography by Nedunalvaadai-fame Vinoth Ramaswamy, and editing by San Lokesh. It is jointly bankrolled by KJR Studios and Oustubh Entertainments.
