Vishnu Vishal and director Ramkumar's 2018 slasher film, Ratsasan, clocked 5 years on Thursday. On the celebratory occasion, the lead actor Vishnu took to his official X handle to pen a note. 

He wrote, "#5YearsOfRatsasan. The love is never-ending... Next one loading soon with Director Ramkumar....What a brilliant film-maker he is. I thought the third one with him after Mundaasupatti and Ratsasan would be easier for me to perform as we understand each other better but he surprises me with his fresh vision every single time and pushes me beyond my capabilities. Lucky to be working with such talented directors." (sic)

Meanwhile, Axess Film Factory, on Thursday, announced that the preparation works of Ratsasan 2 are in full swing, and the official announcements will be made sooner than expected. More details are awaited. 

Ramkumar and Vishnu Vishal are currently working on a third film, tentatively titled VV21. While we know that the film is backed by Sathya Jothi Films, more details about this upcoming film are yet to be announced. 

Ram Kumar's Ratsasan (2018) also starred Amala Paul, Munishkanth and Ammu Abhirami in prominent roles. A slasher psychological thriller, the film received both critical acclaim as well as success at the box office.
