The Kaali Venkat and Ram Arun Castro-led film, Harkara, is now available to stream on Aha Tamil. The film hit theatres on August 25 and opened to mixed reviews.
Also helmed by Ram Arun Castro, the story of Harkara unfolds in two time periods, the 1870s and 2023. While Ram acts as the postman in the period portions, Kaali Venkat represents the present timeline. It traces the history of the postal service from the times of the first postman to the current times. Harkara is said to be based on true events with a fictional spin.
The technical crew of the film consists of two cinematographers, Philip R Sundar and Lokesh Elangovan, who shot the past and present respectively. Harkara has editing by Dani Charles and music by Ramshanker. The album is said to have four songs.
