Following directors Sasikumar and Samuthirakani, filmmaker Nandha Periyasamy has registered his support for filmmaker Ameer in the Paruthiveeran issue and has called out producer Gnanavelraja.

In his press release, Nandha Periyasamy wrote,"The injustice that happened to Paruthiveeran's director Ameer is worse than what happened to his character Muthazhagu in the film. The fate of Muthazhagu ened bad as she trusted Karthi (a) Paruthiveeran. But it can't be the same to Ameer. He will rise more stronger. Many brothers of him like me, are ready to unite for him...."

On the workfront, Nanda Periyasamy is directing Samuthirakani currently for a film named Thiru Manikkam. His last film was Anandham Vilayaadum Veedu, starring Gautham Karthik and Cheran. Notably, he penned the script of Rashmi Rocket starring Taapsee Pannu.
