Actor Karthi, who was recently seen in the forgettable Japan, directed by Raju Murugan, is currently shooting for his next made by Nalan Kumarasamy.

Producer Gnanavel Raja, who is bankrolling the film, has shared in a recent interview that the first look and the title of the project  will be revealed in December. He had also shared that 50% of the film's shooting has been completed. Tentatively referred to as Karthi26 film stars Krithi Shetty as the female lead has Sathyaraj and Rajkiran in important roles. 

Apart from this film Karthi has a film with director Premkumar and Kaithi sequel with Lokesh Kanagaraj in the lineup.
