After Dulquer Salmaan and Trisha, Jayam Ravi joins the cast of KH 234

KH 234 marks the sophomore collaboration between actor Kamal Haasan and filmmaker Mani Ratnam

It has been an eventful day as the cast and crew of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratam's much-awaited KH 234 are being announced one by one. Ahead of Kamal Haasan's 69th birthday, which is tomorrow, November 7, the makers had also earlier revealed that the title of the film would be announced.

Following the announcement of Dulquer Salmaan and Trisha being part of the cast, it has now been revealed that Jayam Ravi is also part of the upcoming film. Raaj Kamal International made the news official through their X handle saying, "We're beyond excited to announce our collaboration with actor Jayam Ravi on this awe-inspiring journey."

After collaborating with Mani Ratnam in his magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan part one and two films, is all set to join hands with the director for the third time.

Sharing his excitement, Jayam Ravi said, "From fanboy to co-star… this feels surreal! Excited to start this journey with my Andavar Kamal Haasan sir. It’s always a pleasure coming back to the Madras Talkies family. Thank you for always believing in me Mani sir."

KH 234 marks the sophomore collaboration between legendary actor Kamal Haasan and renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam, after the 1987 classic film Nayakan.

The film will be a co-production between Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies, Kamal's Raaj Kamal Film International, and Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies.

The film will have music by AR Rahman, who last scored his Tenali in 2001. While the cinematography will be handled by Ravi K Chandran, the editing will be done by Sreekar Prasad. Action Choreography for the film will be taken care of by Anbariv.
